​The beneficiary selected this year is Bear Neccessities. The Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation is a Chicago-based nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating pediatric cancer and providing hope and support to affected families.

​Dance Marathon

District 219 (Niles North and Niles West) joined forces in 2003 to create its own Dance Marathon, a completely student-run organization that helps a different charity each year.  Through canning, bake sales, events, and fundraisers, members of DM  help the charity by raising money all year long. ​
